I’m Back!

Hi There! Today I made a difficult choice, to write in English. So many English speakers brothers and sisters are practicing their Spanish reading the Bololog, that I will practice my English today.
There was this guy that has a reputation of being really dumb, his name was John Dumb. One day he was riding his motorcycle and he stopped at a red light and start scratching his helmet. One of his friends stopped at his right and saw him. When he saw John scratching his helmet he roll down his window and asked: Hey John … why are you scratching your helmet? John replied: my head itch! His friend asked again: why you don’t take off your helmet? Will that be better? And John immediately replied… When you take off your pants to scratch your butt?
This Story reminds me about our Christian life. We are so good, but do we take of our Christianity to sin? Can we remove our Christian armor or turn it on and off like a switch? I don’t think so. We are who we are, Sons and Daughters of God, and that is something that no one will take away from us, but instead we choose not to live our life taking ownership of that God’s given Title.
We can’t continue living a life of sin and pretend to love God, with God we can’t pretend. He knows us the way we are, and trust me on this one, better than we know ourselves. So who are we deceiving? For sure is not God.
My brothers and sisters, we never remove our Christian status, we need to keep this in our minds and in our hearts all the time in order to live the live that God’s want for us. Let’s keep our heads up to heaven and build the kingdom.
Please keep praying for me, I’m doing it for you.
Fr. Hector
